My life has never been the same since I learnt that a daisy is really thousands of flowers as a colony. Each petal is a full flower. As are the little bits in the yellow centre. Hence the family name Composite.

I love that teasel! I don't think I have ever seen one at this stage of development!
And the tiny bugs in the daisy! They look kinda gross, but then, it is their home...
