This and That

Even our indoor plants are confused this year - this Christmas cactus usually blooms in the late fall. This is its third time to bloom since October. 

I've always loved this wall of purple in our neighborhood. Not sure what the plant is.

I'm putting this on both my blogs - I'm just crazy about it. It was filmed at a local hospital - one where I had surgery this last summer (hmmm, I wondered why they all took off in the middle of my operation!) Creative, heartfelt message.

Dear readers,

I'm off on adventures this week -- first a trip to the east coast (US, that is) to visit with some friends (we all met online through Library Thing). When I return next week, I'll be madly rehearsing for our choir concerts on the 16th. After that I will likely stare out the window for a day or two in an attempt to recover some energy.

I intend to have a marvelous time, but I'll be incommuniblogo for awhile. I may post a photo or two of our adventures in the Berkshires but won't be able to visit your blogs much.

Meantime, here are some pretty white flowers to enjoy!

I've been having problems with Blogger lately and I know some other people have, too. I'm curious if anyone has come to this site and found a page with no posts, just the header and footers?
