Windows - and Doors Too! 11-11-09

Mary T hosts Window Views.

Not very fancy, but I love the way the ivy is creeping up to the windows and door, like burglars. This is an old Masonic building that is housing an architecture firm.

Ooo, I love how the ivy turns red in the fall...like Virginia creeper. It's very striking with the burgundy and black trim.

The ivy is very pretty in all those shades of pinks and greens. It really softens the hard walls of a building nicely, doesn't it?

The ivy is lovely, but I also find the windows interesting. The four over two above the four over three above a solid pane is unusual.

and the photo of the arch is from a perfect perspective, gives it such a sweeping majestic feel

I love the colors of Autumn, but red is my favorite. The other hues are beautiful, but they convey death and decay. But red....red is LIFE!

I love the green and red leaves against the white of the building and the crisp, clear colors.
