Camera Critters - 03-28-09: Birdsong

Camera CrittersThis meme is all about photos of animals/critters.

Scrub jay, crow and song sparrow. Three very different bird songs. The sparrow loves the forsythia bush and serenades us from there every morning and evening.

What a beautiful blue little bird. Nice captures and the silhouette was cool.

Caspette & Jientje -- scrub jays have a bit of a spotty reputation, they're very bossy and have an obnoxious "song" - and not nearly as pretty as their cousins, Stellar jays. But looking at it closely for the photo, I appreciate the color and markings on this bird much more!

The jay is especially beautiful. I miss the songbirds! Hopefully, as our trees grow in this newly built community, we'll attract more birds.

Happy Critturday!

The song sparrow can come and sit on my deck and sing me a morning tune any day... it's such a cutie.

The top image is a great one also... I can take a pass on meeting the crow ;)
