- I've been retired since November, 2008. I've been spending lots of time taking photos, singing, and writing. Currently working on a historical fiction novel.. I highly recommend retirement!

This is a glorious, glorious shot! It works so well in sepia! I love it!
Stunning shot! In every single way!! :)
I fell in love with at once :)
Have a great day!
Anna
What a great old ride. Picture yourself a young child, head flung back feeling the wind and loving the sight of that art looking back down at you.
These old rides take me back to the carnivals of my childhood!
The images under the top make this a perfect subject for sepia.
Well done.
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
so beautifully shot. and has transitioned gloriously in sepia.
Unusual....
I love people who remember to look up!!
Such detailing on the top of the ride. If only the riders were even paying attention to the wonderful artwork as the mere merrily spinning away...
Very Nice!
This is so cool in sepia...and I NEVER would have guessed it if I wasn't seeing it for myself. Very nice.
That's looks great in sepia - I never would have thought of that! Nice catch & good eye!
What a great nostalgic look to that shot!
We have one of these swing rides at our local amusement park. I have always loved it -- unfortunately, I have found in recent years, that the rides that go around and around, nauseate me. My daughter took me on it twice in a row, the other night, and that pretty much did me in.
This is a great capture. Perfect in sepia. Smiles Barbara
Beautiful shot. I don't know if I could have lost the color since it must have been so pretty. But, your photo looks so nice in sepia.
At first I thought it was classical ceiling... but I guess that's just what it is. Marveloous shot! Happy Sepia Scenes! :)
super angle
great perspective, one of my very favorite rides. brought a wave of nostalgia to this old woman. Hope you can stop by to see my sepia scene and window views Thanks!
