hosted by TishaWe had a doozy of a storm this afternoon - rare for these parts. About 4pm the sky darkened, then the wind started up, then lightning and very heavy rain for about an hour. I tried to capture lightning, but it was evasive!
The wind blew the birch trees sideways.

Lightning is really hard to catch. I love these clouds, and the lighting is so dramatic.
I love stormy weather! When it's stormy out, I love to sit outside and watch, listen and smell the rain.
The photos really share the storm.
