Another Autumn Sunset

I had to capture this one tonight -- even with the phone wires and houses, it's a spectacular sunset!

I am so pleased you brought this beauty to the assignment. GORGEOUS. It's the kind of sunset I live for. :)

Always, Carly

Very nice! The clouds are really interesting looking!
Thanks for the comment on my photo, I am not sure what I would do different, change positions perhaps ..possibly off to the side. It was about 20 below zero windchill that day..I was frozen! :)

It looks like some kind of evil cotton candy. Awesome colors!

The wires look like a 'cat's cradle' that as a kid I used to make with string and the sky reminds me of the glowing charcoal of a barbecue just ready to cook on. This photo makes me feel hungry for more than just food.

Thank you all -- I love your metaphors! Evil cotton candy - that's funny! And Liz, it DOES look like cat's cradle - I hadn't noticed that! I was so miffed that all those wires were "in the way" rather than accepting them as part of the shot. Learning!

The wires and the roof just make it even more interesting, providing contrast in color and texture. Very cool!
