Round Robin - Hometown Holiday Decorations

I had great plans for this challenge - I was going to go downtown to the square and photograph Portland's "Living Room" decorations, including the very tall Christmas tree. But a head cold and now a fair amount of snow have conspired (not dreaming by the fire) to keep me home. I did manage to snap a few photos last week of some fun neighborhood decorations. Here they are (be sure to click on the photos to get the most out of them):

A fanciful Santa and flamingo-deer

Not sure what this is - I'm thinking the 12 days of Christmas are in there somewhere.

This is a lovely animated reindeer

Mother Nature decorated this persimmon tree...

...and this catoneaster.

Hi Terri :)

You're not late! You can post the day of the challenge or for up to one week past the challenge date. So you are right on time. :)

Lovely photos. The one with the Santa Flamingo made me smile, as did the persimmon tree. A nice mix of autumn and winter there. :) Good job!

Always, Carly

The Santa flamingo cracks me up!

I do love the wreath...and was that a dress?

Yes, Serena, that's a dress -- though I'm not sure it's meant to be worn. I'm pretty sure it's art only.
