Ellipsis - Monday Photo Shoot: Pizza Toppings

Carly at Ellipsis said:
Show me what toppings you prefer on your pizza. If you don't happen to like pizza, show me what toppings grace the warm culinary bit of deliciousness you do partake of. An example would be a slice of cheese or bacon on a Slider, or onions on a hot dog. If possible, however, please try your best to keep to the original assignment of PIZZA TOPPINGS.
I'm not much of a pizza eater/lover, but we have a plethora of specialty pizza shops in our neighborhood. So I wandered into one with my camera the other day. They thought I was a little odd. I told them it was for an assignment, hoping they'd think I was in some hotshot photojournalism class. No, they just thought I was odd. Oh well.

These little slices of heaven were even tempting for me - basil, feta cheese, sundried tomatoes on one section, some broccoli and cheese on another, and olives and mushrooms.

But this is normally how I do my toppings (feta cheese and kalamata olives, YUM) - on rosemary/garlic crackers:

Hi Terri :)

Oh my, beautiful pizza to be sure! And oh boy those ingredients, Feta Kalamatra olives... fabulous! I prefer French Feta to the more traditional. How about you? Great photos start to finish! Good job!

Always, Carly

Thanks, Carly! Yes, definitely French sheep's milk feta (though I'd rather not buy imported food, some things you just have to splurge on!

Great pizza shop shots - I never noticed the pizza warmers before. And is that a llama head on your cheese spatula thingie?

Thanks Tammy and Karen. That might be a llama, Karen - I always thought of it as a giraffe, but with the closeup- it could be a llama.
