Sepia Scenes 02-11-09: Have a Seat

Sepia Scenes is hosted by Mary T, who also hosts the fabulous Ruby Tuesday.

The first two photos are back at the Swantown Inn in Olympia, Washington. The last one is a shoe shine stand still in use downtown Portland.

Terri, these shots are perfect for Sepia Scenes. They look like original old prints. I usually don't post my Sepia Scenes until this afternoon at around 4:00 PM EST... :)

I think these shots are lovely--feel like I am stepping back in time when I look at them.

Fantastic shots for Sepia Scenes - When were these photos actually taken?

It's like taking a walk down memory lane. I would love to sit in that chair to get my shoes shined!

Thanks everyone. I do love the sepia on older objects. Tricia, they were all taken within the last month.

The first two are definitely like stepping back in time.
Perfect for sepia!

I love the shoe shine stand. A chair fit for a king. :)

Wow. I used to shine shoes and they had chairs like this one. Brings back a lot of memories.

Elegant. I would want to sit down there, too.

The first is spectacular. The point of view through the doorway gives the illusion of peeking into the past. Wonderful picture.
