Shadow Shot Sunday 02-08-09: Winter Sun

Visit other shadow shooters via Hey Harriet's site.

Winter sun makes the best shadows! I had fun chasing them this week at a riverside park.

I'm trying an experiment with my blog template, making it possible for the initial photos to be displayed much larger. So I don't have to keep nagging reminding you to click on them to enlarge. What do you think??

Great shots. Terri it works this way just fine. I also don't mind clicking on pictures to see them at full size. Hope you have a great weekend. =)

I love big pictures, at times I see a nice one and had problem figuring them out when the pictures are small. Lovely shadows everywhere :D

What a phabulous photo week you have had!!!! Love the top bridge pic; the alphaphotos, the crows. So much rambling, imagination, and skill. I love the larger photos, as I didn't take time, usually to open the others. And when I would close them the browser closed (I meant to ask if you could please open as a new window). So yes, please, in my subdued rush each morning, I'll enjoy the larger photos !and I love you T too!

Great photos and great shadows - love both of them.

Well, I may be in the minority, but I prefer the smaller pictures. I find large pictures to be like typing in all caps. They tend to shout at me. But whatever you decide, I'll keep looking :-)

Love that first shot in particular, double shadows, i like the big pics, they look great. I enjoyed looking back over your last couple of posts and in particular am intrigued with the alphabet photos with Meli, i have come across her blog before when i did an anna Carson photo challenge, could see myself getting hooked on the alphabet one as well !!

These are great! Especially the top photo with the chair shadows. Love that one! I like the large photos. I was going to go this route as well on my blog but some people with slower connections have trouble with larger pics loading. So I've decided to leave as is for now. I guess there's advantages & disadvantages for either layout. Just do whatever works for you. I like this option, but the other option was good also. I'm really no help...hehe :)

My vote too is for the chairs. They tell a story and come with a past, present and future. Great subtle colors.

Your new blog layout really compliments your photos well.

Wonderful shadows! The chairs would be a nice spot for a lunch and book break.

Great shadows. I love the size of your pictures too. Maybe sometime you can tell us how you did that?
