Nature Notes 05-14-09: What's in bloom?

Nature Notes is the brainchild of Rambling Woods who challenges us to "look at something you might never had paid attention to..a flower…a plant..an animal…What changes are taking place?..Is your garden starting to come to life again?"

Seems like every day now something is popping open. I took a tour of the yard this morning; here's a sample of what's blooming now:

Beautiful!! Spring is so pretty, isn't it?
A lot of blooms on my patio as well. Only now I'm waiting for my new camera to be able to photograph them!

This is a beautiful collage Terri. It's really amazing how quickly the yard gets green and the flowers come into bloom. This is a great post for Nature Notes and made me smile.... Michelle

I love your multi-colored columbine flower. Those bell-like flowers are precious. One of these days I am going to grow irises. Such an elegant flower.
