Alphabet Finds: Y and Z

Ever on the lookout for new and different challenges, I've taken on Melli's alphabet challenge. The idea is to find each letter of the alphabet in a naturally occurring state. In other words (or in other letters), no fair using the 'S' in a stop sign; rather you need to find something that is shaped like an 'S'.

This week: Y and Z. End of the line. I wonder what Melli will have in store for us next?!

This is around the corner at our neighbors' house. We drove by one day a few weeks ago and I shouted, "Y !!" Laurie looked puzzled; "Why what?" "No," I said, "the letter 'Y'." She's getting used to my weird ways.

I found the Z down by the waterfront one cold rainy morning.

Your Y is beautiful and I would have been too lost in the rest of the view to even notice your Z.

What good eyes you have! Those are great. I know what you mean when you "see" a letter!! I am noticing them everywhere now!

I agree with Quilly, I had to look twice for your Z! Very very clever finds, and beautiful pictures as always!
