This is a hand crocheted winter village scene. I took this photo at night in very low light shining through mini-blinds from the opposite wall; I played with the contrast a bit in PhotoScape, then added a very light sepia tone. Click to enlarge photo.

It's just perfect with that light sepia tint, like a sweet, pinkish, mother-of-pearl. Very calming.
I am in awe that someone could actually crochet an entire village! Crocheting is the one craft that I gladly admit defeat to, so I am REALLY impressed. Lovely, soft shot.
That's all crochet? Wow! It's a beautiful shot & I really like what you've done with it.
Sorry I missed this last week. I'm glad you linked it up this week to share :)
Thank you all! Harriet (I think that's not really your name but I can't remember it now!) - I think I forgot to link up last week. Not to worry.
There is a lot more to the crocheted village than what shows here - probably a dozen little buildings. It is quite impressive.
I've never seen a crocheted village...nice shadows!
This villiage makes such a nice shadow against the blinds. Love what you did with in on photo shop!
a lovely soft & subtle shadow shot!
Your aftermath photo made me laugh! Another good one.
I do like thus very much. Sepia is perfect for it.
What an interesting village...all shrouded in the fog...very cool shot and village.

Crochet a village? Smart shot! Seems it's in the peak season of foggy winter.
Enjoy!
What a lovely shot..Crochet village..Oh my..what a treasure.
Happy SSS..
very dreamy and lacey, lovely
A crocheted village? Too cool. You have done the sepia so well that it seems like natural light.
Subtle and ingenious - lovely photograph.
