Terri, I will be glued to the TV tomorrow!!

To create a sticky post in Blogger: write the post, publish the post (current time and date). Edit the post and change the date to any future date you want (click on Post Options at the bottom of the Compose window) and it will publish at that date and stay at the head of your posting area until that date. Label it "STICKY POST" so people know your current posts are further down on your posting area.

It is grand to awaken to NOW ~ as Barack becomes President Obama.

On Tuesday, since I'm in the multimedia department at a university, I expect to be cruising around the academic buildings being sure cable TV is revving up A-OK (it's rarely used as a lecture tool). Glad our Video Dept can DVD the day for me.

The whole world will be watching...and this time in a good way! I'm so glad I'm witnessing this. Will you be there in person? Lucky you! I'll be at a house party...an all day celebration. I'm bringing a box of tissues as I know there will be tears of joy. I've already welled up at the Lincoln Memorial festivities.

Hi!
If it's on late I won't get to see this wonderful event in our history! I am in bed by 8:30pm as I get up at 3'45 am to go to work. Hoping someone has it on the internet. Have a great day!!

No, I definitely won't be there in person. I love the idea of that, but the reality of dealing with the huge crowds, the travel -- not my cup o' tea. Isn't it wonderful to live in an age when we can watch it live on TV or on our laptops or on a Blackberry???

Sherrie, I think you're in the US, yes? The actual swearing in is around noon eastern time I think.

June, I choke up just thinking about it!

Nancy, how clever of you to check out those cable channels tomorrow!
