PhotoHunt - HOPE 01-03-09



This week's PhotoHunt assignment: HOPE

Hope is something I have a lot more of since November 4th!

This photo is a mural at a drum store in Portland. I spied it as we were leaving town yesterday and stopped on the way home today to photograph it. Portland-Mutare (Zimbabwe) Sister City Association/Africa AIDS Response organized the project. From their website:
Increasing awareness in the Portland community is one of the main goals of Africa AIDS Response. Through education, outreach, and direct connections, we hope to make the distance between Mutare and Portland seem just a little smaller.
