Looking at the Sky - Friday - Mountains Majesty

Photobucket OK, so this was actually on Sunday, not Friday. It was cold and windy up on Mt. Tabor, but I had to go up there to get these shots, I knew the mountains would be glorious. The first one is Mt. Hood, the second is Mt. St. Helens - yes, the one that exploded in 1980. It used to look more like Mt. Hood before the eruption, pointier rather than domed.

Be sure to click on the photos for a spectacular view.

Both spectacular...I hope to see them in the flesh some day.

Snow looks so pretty from the distance. It's when you have to interact with it that the problems start to surface :) Happy Friday!

so beautiful

I like that they look different now, they each have their own place in beauty :)

Wow, these images are breath taking. I especially love the second one framed by the trees. Very nicely done. Thanks so much for playing!!

They are beautiful shots of gorgeous mountains. We don't have such high mountains here in the East! Thanks for sharing! :)

Happy Sky Looking ~

The blue sky is highlighted so well by the snow covered alp. A clear sky looks that much better above the cap of snow on top!
